America The Beautiful Shawnee National Forest Coin Sales Surge
The first coin in the 2016 U.S. Mint’s America The Beautiful Series, the Shawnee National Forest went on sale earlier this month.
The Shawnee National Forest five ounce silver coin has sold 102,500 so far in February, making it the third best selling America The Beautiful coin behind 2011’s Gettysburg National Military Park and Glacier National Park coins that sold 126,700 and the Olympic National Park coin that sold 104,900.
